One of the most charming elements of urban city plans from before decades are undoubtedly tenement houses. They were built throughout many centuries since the Middle Ages till 21st century in many different architectonic styles. In stocks of most libraries belonging to the Digital Libraries Federation we can find mainly photographic documentations of old tenement houses preserved until today, also some graphics and postcards presenting enchanting yards and alleys. In the Opolska Digital Library there are postcards: monochrome photo with tenement houses from Greifswald and a draft of a tenement house with arcades in Bolków. In the National Digital Library POLONA we can find photographs and postcards with tenement houses in Lvov, also a prewar etching with Dekert’s tenement house. The National Digital Museum in Warsaw presents an oilcloth graphics with tenement house by Saint Anna in Warsaw from the beginning of 20th century, oil painting with Frank’s tenement house in Vilnius and gouache with a yard of an old tenement house in Paris. Single publications are available also among others in: the Multimedia Library of NN Theatre (tenement houses by Castle Square); Library of Private Collections (tenement houses in Toruń and Wąbrzeźno); Digital Library of UMCS (Massar tenement house Lvov); Digital Library of University of Technology in Warsaw (fukier tenement house); or in the Digital Public Library in Lublin (Gdańsk tenement house in Kazimierz Dolny).
