This article aims to present the best translation model for the equivalent terms between Turkish and Polish. Sources are based on examples from the court documents exchanged in judicial cooperation between the two countries. These texts were selected as research material because they cover a wide range of not only statutory but also specialist terminology in the field of criminal proceedings and the colloquial language included in the testimonies of witnesses. The author attempts to present the main translation problems of court translations between Turkish and Polish, while briefly discussing the status of a certified sworn translator in Turkey and the related most important problem that Turkey has to deal within the frameworks of judicial cooperation with Poland, namely the lack of qualified court interpreters.;
Niniejszy artykuł ma celu przedstawienie najlepszego modelu tłumaczenia dla terminów ekwiwalentnych pomiędzy tureckim a polskim na podstawie przykładów zaczerpniętych z pism sądowych wymienianych w ramach współpracy sądowej pomiędzy oboma państwami. Teksty te zostały wybrane jako materiał badawczy, ponieważ obejmują szeroki zakres słownictwa nie tylko ustawowego, ale również specjalistycznego z zakresu postępowania karnego, a także języka potocznego zawartego chociażby w zeznaniach świadków. Autorka stara się przybliżyć główne problemy przekładowe tłumaczeń sądowych pomiędzy tureckim i polskim, przy okazji omawiając w skrócie status biegłego tłumacza przysięgłego w Turcji i związany z nim największy problem, z jakim boryka się Turcja w ramach współpracy sądowej z Polską, mianowicie brak wykfalifikowanych tłumaczy sądowych.
