  The essay is devoted to a few contemporary books of poetry, whose visual aspect and realization of the typographic project encourage new interpretative hypotheses based on the manners in which the book manifests itself as an artifact rather than based on the reading of poems themselves. This shift of reception from semiotic to tactile requires a consideration of the organic and ethical aspects of communication. The present author is therefore interested in the role of stitching the blocks and types of bookbinding, especially the aesthetics of an open spine, which provides the books with new meanings.;
  Szkic poświęcony jest kilku współczesnym książkom poetyckim, których aspekt wizualny i realizacja projektu typograficznego skłaniają krytykę do wysuwania hipotez interpretacyjnych nie na podstawie samej lektury wierszy, lecz w pierwszej kolejności biorąc pod uwagę sposób obcowania z książką jako artefaktem. Przestawia to tryb recepcji z semiotycznego na taktylny, co skutkuje koniecznością wzięcia pod uwagę bardziej organicznych i etycznych aspektów komunikacji. Z tej perspektywy autora interesuje rola szycia bloków i sposób oprawy – zwłaszcza estetyka otwartego grzbietu, która naddaje tomom nowe znaczenia.
