  In this discussion paper the author attempts to define educational innovation in higher education. She puts forward a claim that the National Oualifications Framework (NQF) may be seen as an example of such innovation. When characterising the Framework, the author emphasises problems associated with the outcomes of education and their measurability. She stresses that the idea of NQF as a method to describe an education system is logically correct and valid. However, the definition of outcomes of education as well as their measurability give rise to doubts. The implementation of NQF needs to be elaborated more broadly, with greater precision. Consequently, the author believes that the NQF cannot be considered as innovation at this stage.;
  W artykule - ktory ma charakter dyskusyjny - autorka podejmuje probę zdefiniowania innowacji edukacyjnej w szkolnictwie wyższym. Formułuje tezę, iż jako przykład takiej innowacji mogą posłużyć Krajowe Ramy Kwalifikacji (KRK). Charakteryzując założenia KRK, eksponuje problemy związane z efektami kształcenia oraz ich mierzalnością. Podkreśla, że idea KRK, jako metoda opisu systemu kształcenia, jest logicznie poprawna i uzasadniona. Wątpliwości budzi jednak problem definiowania efektow kształcenia i możliwości ich pomiaru. Szerszego i bardziej precyzyjnego dopracowania wymaga proces wdrażania KRK. Dlatego też autorka stwierdza, że KRK nie można jeszcze uważać za innowację.
