  Usually, we think about fonts in a pragmatic or aesthetic context, but the political repercussions of typographic choices have been known for a long time. The typeface is the visual form of the language, which means that its connotations with politics are unavoidable.  The article aims to present the role of typography in politics with particular emphasis on presidential campaigns in the United States of America. The paper refers to the period from the 1930s to the 2020s.;
  O czcionkach zazwyczaj myślimy w kontekście utylitarnym lub estetycznym, jednakże nie od dzisiaj wiadomo również o politycznych reperkusjach decyzji typograficznych. Krój stanowi wizualną formę języka, przez co nieuniknione są jego konotacje z polityką. Artykuł ma na celu zaprezentowanie roli typografii w polityce, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem kampanii prezydenckich w Stanach Zjednoczonych Ameryki. W tekście odwołano się do okresu od lat 30. XX wieku do współczesności.
