This paper aims at analysing translation errors made by students of Russian Studies at an early stage of their Russian language learning and of translation of tourist texts (tourist guides and occasionally tourist brochures). The author attempts to define the underlying causes for errors and to categorise and evaluate them. This topic is relevant primarily due to the limited representation of this type of translation in undergraduate language study programmes at Polish universities. The analysis of the research material presented in this paper shows that with a limited number of classes, numerous translation errors present in students’ works (including purely linguistic errors) can be minimised only through a specific selection of exercises and individual work with the student.;
Celem niniejszego artykułu jest analiza błędów tłumaczeniowych popełnianych przez studentów rusycystyki będących na wczesnym etapie edukacji w zakresie języka rosyjskiego oraz przekładu turystycznego (przewodników turystycznych, okazjonalnie broszur turystycznych), próba nakreślenia ich przyczyn oraz oceny. Temat ten jest aktualny przede wszystkim ze względu na skąpą reprezentację tego typu tłumaczeń w ofercie polskich uczelni na 1. stopniu studiów filologicznych. Analiza zaprezentowanego w artykule materiału badawczego pozwala na wysunięcie wniosków, iż dysponując ograniczoną ilością czasu, pojawiające się licznie błędy tłumaczeniowe w pracach studentów (oraz towarzyszące im błędy stricte językowe), można jedynie zminimalizować poprzez określony dobór ćwiczeń oraz indywidualną pracę ze studentem.
