  The aim of this article was to examine the effectiveness of career coaching as an alternative form of career counseling for high school graduates. An experimental method was applied, involving both coaching and control groups, along with surveys and desk research. The findings showed that coaching significantly increase de motional intelligence, improved stress coping strategies, and helped students clarify their vocation al preferences. Unlike traditional counseling, coaching proved effective regardless of students’ cognitive styles. The conclusions suggest the need to integrate coaching into the school-based career counseling system.;
  Celem niniejszej pracy było zbadanie skuteczności coachingu kariery jako alternatywnej formy doradztwa zawodowego dla uczniów klas maturalnych. Zastosowano metodę eksperymentalną z grupą coachingową i kontrolną, a także przeprowadzono badania ankietowe oraz analizę danych zastanych. Wyniki wykazały, że coaching znacząco podnosi poziom inteligencji emocjonalnej, poprawia style radzenia sobie ze stresem i ułatwia sprecyzowanie orientacji zawodowych. W przeciwieństwie do tradycyjnego doradztwa, coaching okazał się skuteczny niezależnie od stylu poznawczego uczniów. Wnioski wskazują na potrzebę wprowadzenia coachingu jako uzupełnienia systemu doradztwa zawodowego w szkołach.
