  The article is a pedagogical monograph dedicated to the analysis of the fifty-year development of the Counselling Centre in Swarzędz (1975–2025) in the context of social and educational transformations. The aim of the article is to present the origins and dynamics of the Centre’s development, as well as to analyse its adjustments to the changing needs of children, youth, families, and the educational and social environment. The article discusses the beginnings of psychological-pedagogical counselling in Poland and the early years of the Counselling Centre’s activity in Swarzędz. It presents the development of the Centre’s organisational structure and changes in the diagnostic and therapeutic functions it performs. Particular attention is paid to the impact of infrastructure development on the effectiveness of the support provided and the role of the Counselling Centre as a key  element of the psychological-pedagogical support system. The article is based on an analysis of the Counselling Centre’s source documentation, legal acts, regulations, and directives, as well as relevant academic literature. The analysis shows how the institution responded to the changing and diverse needs of both the Centre’s clients and the local community.;
  Artykuł ma charakter monografii pedagogicznej i poświęcony jest analizie pięćdziesięcioletniego rozwoju Poradni Psychologiczno-Pedagogicznej w Swarzędzu (1975–2025) w kontekście przemian społecznych i edukacyjnych. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie genezy oraz dynamiki rozwoju Poradni, a także analiza jej dostosowań do zmieniających się potrzeb dzieci, młodzieży, rodzin oraz środowiska edukacyjno-społecznego. W artykule omówiono początki poradnictwa psychologiczno-pedagogicznego w Polsce oraz pierwsze lata działalności Poradni w Swarzędzu. Przedstawiono rozwój struktury organizacyjnej Poradni oraz zmiany w zakresie realizowanych funkcji diagnostycznych i terapeutycznych. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na wpływ rozwoju infrastruktury na efektywność udzielanego wsparcia oraz rolę Poradni jako kluczowego elementu systemu pomocy psychologiczno-pedagogicznej. Artykuł opiera się na analizie dokumentacji źródłowej Poradni, aktów prawnych, rozporządzeń oraz zarządzeń, a także na literaturze przedmiotu. Analiza ukazuje, w jaki sposób instytucja odpowiadała na zmieniające się i zróżnicowane potrzeby zarówno podopiecznych Poradni, jak i lokalnej społeczności.
