By analyzing the content of the story of Pentecost, the author argues that glossolalia became the experience of the Apostles and shows that this passage of the Acts do not represent a simple report of this event, but it’s a theological image, which St. Luke gave us to unravel the depth and significance of the day on which the Church was born.;
Artykuł odnosi się do dyskusji o naturze charyzmatycznego daru języków w Dz 2,1–13. Wydaje się, że zamiast glosolalii (charyzmatycznej, niezrozumiałej mowy), mamy tu do czynienia z ksenoglosją (posługiwaniem się niewyuczonymi, obcymi językami). Autor analizuje zawarte w opowiadaniu o Dniu Pięćdziesiątnicy teologiczne treści, wskazując na glosolalię, jako na dar, którego doświadczyli Apostołowie. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie, że Dz 2,1–13 nie stanowi prostego zapisu faktów z miejsca wydarzeń, ale jest teologicznym obrazem, dzięki któremu św. Łukasz próbuje oddać głębię i istotę wydarzenia fundamentalnego dla historii Kościoła.
