One of the most important initiatives of Information Specialist Student Association in academic year 2007/2008 was Course of information searching for students of Nicolaus Copernicus University. Members of Information Specialist Student Association take part in many conferences, among which the Bobcatsss Symposium is worth mentioning. Moreover they act during events at the university like Historican's Day, Educational Promotion and Science and Art Festival.;
Jedną z najważniejszych inicjatyw Koła Naukowego Specjalistów Informacji było przeprowadzenie w roku akademickim 2007/2008 Kursu Wyszukiwania Informacji dla studentów Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika. Członkowie Koła biorą udział w wielu konferencjach, między innymi w Bobcatsss Symposium. Ponadto czynnie udzielają się podczas takich imprez na terenie uniwersytetu jak Promocja Edukacyjna, Dni Historyka oraz Festiwal Nauki i Sztuki.
