  In the presented article author, for the first time in Polish historiography, so extensively presented the problem of the transit of war material, through territory allied towards the Second Polish Republic – of Romania. It appears from the text that the territory of Romania was supposed to be for Poland – in case of the war – to move the umbilical cord, by which he had from ports being situated at the Black Sea (Constanța), with Donau (Galați, Brăila) or with Aegean Sea (Thessaloniki), war transit, of indispensable raw materials for the Polish industry and the equipment of the serviceman and the ammunition for the Polish army. Article, being based above all on unpublished earlier archival documents, is presenting the title issue comprehensively – from signing a treaty of alliance with Romania into 1921, all the way to introducing the practical side to the completion of the war transit in the reality of campaigns Polish 1939.;
  W artykule autor po raz pierwszy w historiografii polskiej tak dokładnie przedstawił problem tranzytu materiału wojennego przez terytorium rumuńskiego sojusznika do II Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej. Z tekstu wynika, że terytorium Rumunii w razie wojny miało być dla Polski pępowiną, którą materiał wojenny, niezbędne dla polskiego przemysłu surowce, sprzęt oraz amunicja mogły być transportowane z portów nad Morzem Czarnym (Konstanca), Dunajem (Galati, Brăila) albo Morzem Egejskim (Saloniki). Artykuł, opierając się przede wszystkim na niepublikowanych dokumentach archiwalnych, przedstawia całościowo tytułowe zagadnienie – od podpisania sojuszu z Rumunią w 1921 r. aż do ukazania praktycznej strony transportu wojennego w trakcie Kampanii Polskiej 1939 r.
