  Poland’s 2023 parliamentary elections are presented as the most important in morethan 30 years. At the same time, public messages often emphasize the role of theyoung in the process of choosing a new direction for Poland. Contemporary politicalconditions, which are characterized by highly emotional political debate, influencethe electoral decisions made by the youngest voters. The study addresses the issue ofadolescents and their peripheral political knowledge, interest in politics and potentialparticipation in the 2023 elections. The research group consists of students aged 17 to19 from the Roman Abraham Technical and General Education School Complex inWrześnia (n = 213). It turns out that the surveyed group is of an extremely unequalnature, on the one hand there are people with a high level of knowledge who are interestedin politics, but on the other there are people in this group who are characterizedby a lack of political knowledge. Despite such clear differences, most respondentsdeclare their active participation in the October 2023 elections.;
  Polskie wybory parlamentarne w 2023 są traktowane i przedstawiane jako najważniejsze od ponad 30 lat. Jednocześnie w przekazie publicznym często podkreśla się rolę młodych w procesie wyboru nowego kierunku rozwoju dla Polski. Współczesne warunki politycznie, które charakteryzują się wysoce emocjonalną debatą polityczną, wpływają na podejmowane przez najmłodszych wyborców decyzje wyborcze. Badanie podejmuje problematykę adolescentów i ich wiedzy okołopolitycznej, zainteresowania polityką i potencjalnego uczestnictwa w wyborach w 2023 roku. Grupę badawczą stanowią uczniowie w wieku od 17 do 19 r.ż. z Zespołu Szkół Technicznych i Ogólnokształcących im. Romana Abrahama we Wrześni (n = 213). Okazuje się, że badana grupa ma charakter niezwykle niejednorodny, z jednej strony, są to osoby o wysokim poziomie wiedzy, które interesują się polityką, z drugiej jednak, należą do tej grupy osoby, które charakteryzują się brakiem wiedzy politycznej. Mimo tak wyraźnych różnic większość badanych deklaruje swoje czynne uczestnictwo w wyborach w październiku 2023 r.
