The German population living within the Polish territorial boundaries after the end of the Second World War was subjected to certain policy and state activities. The fundamental objective of the Polish authorities, resulting from the right of state, the social reality of the time and the national policy adopted by the government, was to displace the Germans from the territory of Poland. When the Ministry for Regained Territories was still in power, a number of actions were taken to 'encourage' the Germans to leave as well as to prevent them from associating or forming organisations. Such actions were possible because the Germans who lived in Poland at that time were practically deprived of any legal protection. When the Ministry for Regained Territories was about to discontinue its activity at the wake of the Stahnisation of the Polish state, those nationalistic attitudes weakened.;
La population allemande, qui après la seconde guerre mondiale s'est retrouvée dans les limites du territoire polonais, fait l'objet d'une politique spécifique de l'État, de ses actions et ses agendas. L'objectif principal découlant de la raison d'État, de la réalité sociale et de la politique nationaliste adoptée par les nouvelles autorités, est l'expulsion des Allemands. Pendant le fonctionnement du Ministère des Terres occidentales on entreprend, envers la population allemande, des mesures ayant pour but de l'expulser. C'est la période où l'on crée des conditions devant mobiliser cette population à quitter la Pologne, on met en place des mesures discriminatoires et des actions contre toute tentative permettant à la population allemande de s'organiser. Un fait y est favorable, à savoir, les Allemands se trouvent pratiquement hors protection juridique. Au déclin de l'activité du Ministère, la stalinisation de l'État progressive imposait un changement de sa doctrine, qui s'est traduit, entre autres, par la lutte contre l'attitude nationale.
