  Die Hauptthese des Beitrages bezieht sich auf die Auffassung von Max Weber über den Verlauf städtischer Vergesellschaftungsprozesse. Um die Thesen im Falle von Kattowitz in Oberschlesien zu verfolgen, hat die Verfasserin des Textes die Planung der Stadt in der Zeit ihrer Gründung analysiert. Es stellte sich heraus, dass die Entstehung der Stadt mit dem Wirken der Freimaurerloge unmittelbar verknüpft ist, was auch in der Einordnung der Sakralbauten im Stadtzentrum noch heutzutage ablesbar ist.;
  Sacral Topography of a Town in the 19th Century: Katowice in Upper Silesia and the first Churches in this CityThe main thesis of this article refers to the concept of Max Weber concerning the processes of socialization. The author of the article analyzed the urban planning of the city in the first stage of its development. It turns out that the creation of the city was directly connected with the activity of the Masonic lodge, which is still visible nowadays in the layout of the sacral buildings in the city centre;

Starając się odnieść do tych tez na przykładzie Katowic na Górnym Śląsku autorka tekstu przeanalizowała założenia planistyczne dla tego miasta w czasie jego początków. Okazało się, że powstanie miasta wiązało się bezpośrednio z działalnością loży wolnomularskiej, co jeszcze dziś jest czytelne w ustawieniu budynków sakralnych w centrum.
