• Description:
  The main purpose of the article is to determine the value of the survey method in physical and geographical research. Whereas the subordinate goal – an attempt to explore cultural ecosystem services. The research covered the Kowal commune, located in the south-eastern part of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The main goal was achieved by testing and determining the degree of usability of the survey method in the study of cultural ecosystem services. The conducted social survey concerned opinions on the values ​​of the natural environment and recreational value in the municipality of Kowal. These values ​​define the groups and classes of specific cultural services. When analyzing the results obtained from questionnaires, an assessment was made of the selection of respondents in terms of their relationship with the region, i.e. the impact of the importance of their time relationship with a given area and the mapping of their responses about the state of the environment of the area. The use of the questionnaire method in research and quantification of cultural services currently provides good opportunities for assessing the state and impact on the environment.;
  Głównym celem artykułu jest określenie wartości metody ankietowej w badaniach fizycznogeograficznych. Natomiast celem drugorzędnym – próba zbadania kulturowych świadczeń ekosystemowych. Badaniami objęto gminę Kowal, położoną w południowo-wschodniej części województwa kujawsko-pomorskiego. Główny cel zrealizowano testując i ustalając stopień użyteczności metody ankietowej w badaniach kulturowych świadczeń ekosystemowych. Przeprowadzona ankieta społeczna dotyczyła opinii w sprawie walorów środowiska przyrodniczego i wartości wypoczynkowej w gminie Kowal. Wartości/walory te określają grupy i klasy konkretnych świadczeń kulturowych. Przy analizie wyników uzyskanych z kwestionariuszy, dokonano oceny doboru respondentów pod względem ich powiązania z regionem, tzn. wpływu znaczenia ich relacji czasowej z danym terenem oraz odwzorowania udzielonych przez nich odpowiedzi o stanie środowiska obszaru. Wykorzystanie metody ankietowej w badaniach i kwantyfikacji świadczeń kulturowych daje obecnie dobre możliwości przy ocenie oraz oddziaływania na środowisko.
