To summarise this activity, the attitude of the inhabitants of the Świecie poviat towards the Soviets and the emotions they evoked are presented.;
  Artykuł opisuje działalność Armii Czerwonej w powiecie świeckim (województwo pomorskie) w 1945 r. Przedstawiono rolę, jaką odgrywało wojsko sowieckie w życiu społeczno-polityczno-gospodarczym regionu. Podano przykłady i omówiono charakter przestępstw popełnionych przez czerwonoarmistów oraz ich wpływ na życie społeczności lokalnej. Podsumowując tę działalność, zaprezentowano stosunek mieszkańców powiatu świeckiego do Sowietów oraz emocje, jakie wywoływali.
