  The article characterises the manifestations of spirituality perceived in the biography of Zbigniew Marek – a Polish professor, theologian, educator and Jesuit. Their extraction was made possible by drawing on funeral eulogies and self-narratives to illuminate the contexts of Professor Marek’s life and activities relevant to understanding his experience. It was shown to be a spirituality deeply rooted in the Ignatian tradition, characterised by the principles of cura personalis and magis. These are expressed in a rootedness in God that allows one to see one’s own potential and that of others, to meet their problems, to seek new solutions, to motivate them to live creatively. In the theoretical dimension, this understanding of spirituality is described: in the pedagogy of the Good News in the Catholic perspective, the pedagogy of accompaniment in the Ignatian tradition and the pedagogy of witness in the kerygmatic-anthropological perspective.;
  W artykule zostały scharakteryzowane przejawy duchowości dostrzeżone w biografii Zbigniewa Marka – polskiego profesora, teologa, pedagoga, jezuity. Wydobycie ich stało się możliwe dzięki sięgnięciu do mów pogrzebowych oraz autonarracji poprzez wskazanie kontekstów życia i działania umożliwiających rozumienie doświadczenia. Wykazano, że jest to duchowość głęboko zakorzeniona w tradycji ignacjańskiej, którą charakteryzują zasady cura personalis i magis. Zostały one wyrażone w takim zakorzenieniu w Bogu, które pozwala dostrzegać potencjał własny i innych ludzi, wychodzić naprzeciw ich problemom, szukać nowych rozwiązań, motywować do wartościowego życia. W wymiarze teoretycznym takie rozumienie duchowości zostało opisanew pedagogice Dobrej Nowiny w perspektywie katolickiej, pedagogice towarzyszenia w tradycji ignacjańskiej oraz pedagogice świadectwa w perspektywie kerygmatyczno-antropologicznej.
