  The author refers to the modern stage recitation technique offering a new typology of characters: Sik-Sik, or the magro-mago, the thin magus in a black top hat, with a white face, dressed in black, who establishes direct contact with the audience using voice modulation, mimics, pantomime and other recitation elements. Sik-Sik becomes a model for other prominent figures of the Italian drama, such as Pirandello or Fo.;
  Sik Sik l’artefice mago viene inserito dal suo autore nelle Cantate dei giorni pari. I numeri pari, si sa, sono ampiamente sprovvisti di virtù propiziatorie, di efficacia scaramantica. Il processo di infatuazione, l’auto-investitura con cui il ciarlatano si addobba da demiurgo di periferia, da vate creatore di portenti e di mirabilie, crolla pertanto subito: il goffo bricoleur che dovrebbe innalzarsi al ruolo sacro di artifex grazie alla fiducia accordatagli da un’ingenua platea, fino ad illudersi lui stesso forse sulla verità della propria menzogna vitale, rinuncia mestamente alla sua gaglioffa pretesa.;
  W niniejszym artykule autor podejmuje próbę charakteryzowania nowoczesnej sztuki recytacji, która wykreowała nowe typy charakterów scenicznych takich jak: Sik-Sik lub magro-mago, szczupłych magów w czarnym cylindrze i czarnym kostiumie, których znakiem rozpoznawczym jest pomalowana na biało twarz. Istota tej sztuki polega na utrzymaniu bezpośredniego kontaktu przez aktora z publicznością za pomocą modulacji głosu, mimiki, pantominy lub innych form recytacji. Sik-sik stał się wzorcem dla innych wybitnych postaci włoskiego dramatu, takich jak Pirandello lub Fo.
