  Evangelization is closely bound to baptism. To be baptized means that we are sent out like Christ’s disciples and are closely joined to the mission of the Church down through the ages The New Evangelization, does not mean a cessation of past activities, or a relinquishing of the missionary work of today, rather it signifies a re-examination of our pastoral practices and a return to the source of the Gospel. That mission, contained in the Gospel, is carried into today’s world that is characterized by radical new realities which we must address: globalization, the IT revolution and a genetics and neuroscience revolution. The backdrop of this contemporary Christian mission takes place also in a world with different challenges: massive secularization, geographic mobility, multicultural societies, market consumption and the power of the media. The New Evangelization should, therefore, be focused on the family, education, and the parish community – these are places where some of the problems may be addressed and these are places where we find people in real life situations. The Church, which is called to serve, should also seek to strengthen the New Evangelization by creative initiatives drawn from ecclesiastical movements, religious communities and apostolic actions. Neither can one forget such special places like sanctuaries and monasteries which can provide the necessary opportunity for prayer and reflection, which are so essential for a real Christian formation.;
  La nouvelle évangélisation est le programme de l’Eglise en ce début de troisième millénaire. Une route jonchée de remises en cause et de fidélités. Dans la ligne du synode sur la nouvelle évangélisation et la transmission de la foi, les chrétiens et les communautés ecclésiales sont invités à s’engager avec courage sur cette route, en se rappelant « que l’élan missionnaire a toujours été le signe de la vitalité de nos Eglises et que l’évangélisation est une oeuvre de l’Esprit, avant même d’être une action».;
  Ewangelizacja jest ściśle związana z chrztem. Jako ochrzczeni jesteśmy posłani na wzór uczniów Pańskich oraz ściśle związani z misyjnym charakterem Kościoła. Nowa Ewangelizacja nie oznacza ustania wcześniejszych aktywności, czy też rezygnacji z pracy misyjnej dziś, ale termin ten odnosi się raczej do ponownego przeanalizowania naszej praktyki pastoralnej i powrotu do źródła Ewangelii. Misja ta zawarta w Ewangelii jest niesiona współczesnemu światu, którego cechuje radykalnie inna rzeczywistość, do której musi się ona odnieść: globalizacja, rewolucja telekomunikacyjna, czy postęp genetyki i neurobiologii. Tłem współczesnej misji chrześcijaństwa jest świat naznaczony wieloma wyzwaniami: powszechna sekularyzacja, mobilność, wielokulturowe społeczeństwa, konsumpcja rynkowa, czy znaczenie mass mediów. Stąd też Nowa Ewangelizacja powinna skupić swoje działanie na rodzinie, edukacji, wspólnotach parafialnych, ponieważ są to miejsca, których mogą dotyczyć pewne problemy, i są to miejsca, w których znajdujemy ludzi pośród ich życiowych sytuacji. Kościół, który jest powołany, by służyć, powinien także starać się wspierać Nową Ewangelizację poprzez kreatywne inicjatywy zaczerpnięte z ruchów kościelnych, wspólnot religijnych i dzieł apostolskich. Nie należy też zapominać o tak szczególnych miejscach, jak sanktuaria i klasztory, które są miejscem nieodzownej modlitwy i refleksji, jakże kluczowych dla prawdziwej, chrześcijańskiej formacji.
