The article demonstrates previously unpublished research on Marian Morelowski’s activities in recovering Polish cultural property from Russia. The study presents a detailed analysis of his participation and merits during the restitution of cultural property after the Treaty of Riga. Morelowski’s involvement in the work of the Society for the Protection of Monuments in Moscow and the Congressional Work Office, as well as several years of activity in the Polish delegation to the Special Mixed Commission for the Re-Acquisition of Cultural Property from Russia, are described.;
Artykuł prezentuje dotąd niepublikowane badania na temat działalności Mariana Morelowskiego w procesie rewindykacji polskich dóbr kultury z Rosji. W opracowaniu poddano szczegółowej analizie jego udział i zasługi w przebiegu restytucji mienia kulturalnego po traktacie ryskim. Opisano uczestnictwo Morelowskiego w pracach Towarzystwa Opieki nad Zabytkami Przeszłości w Moskwie, w Biurze Prac Kongresowych i kilkuletnią działalność w delegacji polskiej w Mieszanej Komisji Specjalnej do spraw reewakuacji mienia kulturalnego z Rosji.
