  Introduction. A nurse provides comprehensive nursing care for a person, family and community in the living environment, regardless of gender and age. It is an important element of the therapeutic link, especially when working with parents and their children, especially in relation to chronically ill or disabled children. Aim. The aim of the thesis is to assess the professional activities of the POZ nurse, with particular emphasis on working with children and their parents, and to show directions for improving the quality of services rendered. Material and methods. The method of diagnostic survey was used in the above thesis. The research used a questionnaire of own construction supplemented with fragments modified for pediatric nursing purposes in primary care. The standardized tool was - "Questionnaire for assessing the level of parent / guardian satisfaction with nursing care" by Latour, Which was adapted to the conditions of national pediatric hospital and validated by Dr. Ewa Smoleń and Prof. Anna Ksykiewicz- Dorota, Medical University of Lublin, Faculty of Health Sciences, Chair and Department of Nursing Management. The study group consisted of 105 parents of children. Results: According to the respondents' opinions, it turned out that the patients' answers to the questions concerning the level of satisfaction of the parents were most highly rated for the question concerning the efficiency of the procedures performed by the primary care nurse. The issue with the lowest score concerned the interpersonal relationship of medical staff towards parents. Low ratings were also given to questions that raised the issue of the flexibility of the clinic's working hours, as well as the availability of written information about the rules of operation of the facility. Conclusions. The conducted research allowed to determine the scale of the nurse's involvement in helping and eliminating parents' fears, thus guaranteeing a high evaluation of the nurse's work. 62% of the surveyed parents agree that the efficiency of the procedures performed, professionalism and respect for their child guarantee a positive assessment of the work of a POZ nurse.;
  Wstęp. Pielęgniarka POZ sprawuje kompleksową opiekę pielęgniarską nad osobą, rodziną i społecznością w środowisku zamieszkania, niezależnie od płci i wieku. Jest ważnym elementem ogniwa terapeutycznego, zwłaszcza w pracy z rodzicami i ich dziećmi, szczególnie w odniesieniu do dzieci przewlekle chorych czy niepełnosprawnych. Cel. Analiza oceny działań zawodowych pielęgniarki POZ z uwzględnieniem pracy z dziećmi i ich rodzicami. Materiał i metody. W pracy wykorzystano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego przy użyciu techniki ankietowania. Narzędziem badawczym służącym do przeprowadzenia badań była ankieta własna uzupełniona o fragmenty zmodyfikowane dla celów pielęgniarstwa pediatrycznego standaryzowanego narzędzia – „Standaryzowany kwestionariusz oceny poziomu zadowolenia rodziców/ opiekunów z opieki pielęgniarskiej” autorstwa Latoura i wsp. Skorzystano z kryterium V kwestionariusza i przypisanych mu dziewiętnastu kryteriów szczegółowych. Analizie badawczej poddano 105 rodziców dzieci. Wyniki. Według opinii respondentów okazało się, że odpowiedzi pacjentów na pytania dotyczące poziomu satysfakcji rodziców najwyżej ocenione zostało pytanie dotyczące sprawności wykonanych zabiegów przez pielęgniarkę POZ. Zagadnienie najniżej ocenione dotyczyło relacji interpersonalnej personelu medycznego wobec rodziców. Niskie oceny otrzymały również pytania, które poruszyły problematykę elastyczności godzin pracy przychodni, a także dostępności do informacji pisemnej o zasadach funkcjonowania placówki. Wnioski. Przeprowadzone badania pozwoliły określić skalę zaangażowania pielęgniarki w pomoc i eliminację obaw rodziców gwarantując przez to wysoką ocenę pracy pielęgniarki. Ankietowani rodzice w 62% zgadzają się z tym, że sprawność wykonywanych zabiegów, profesjonalizm i szacunek wobec ich dziecka gwarantują pozytywną ocenę pracy pielęgniarki POZ.
