  The starting point for this analysis is the discursivity of the research on Polish children’s and young adult literature. The essay discusses the canon of literature for young people and the role of multimedia in the latest texts for children. It also focuses on issues related to the impact of new literary research methodologies on YA literature research.;
  W artykule podjęto problem dyskursywności w badaniach nad polską literaturą dla dzieci i młodzieży. Autorka skoncentrowała się na charakterystyce różnych ujęć piśmiennictwa dla dzieci i młodzieży, które ze względu na specyficzną konstrukcję prezentowanego w nim świata oraz sposobów użyć języka zachęca badaczy do uruchamiania nie tylko literaturoznawczych narzędzi, ale także psychologicznych, pedagogicznych, folklorystycznych i wreszcie antropologicznych. Powszechnie funkcjonujące na gruncie polskiej refleksji naukowej pojęcia, jak np. „literatura czwarta”,  „literatura osobna”, „literatura dla dzieci”, „literatura dziecięca” są wyrazistym przykładem dyskursywizacji zjawisk literackich, a zarazem są one efektem namysłu nad specyfiką świata dziecka.
