  The aim of the present study is to evaluate the influence of structural funds on shaping the factors of local development in gmina Rokietnica. The study contains the definition of local development and the characteristic of the commonest factors of this development (human capital, physical capital, financial capital, social capital and territorial marketing). Next part of the study contains short description of gmina Rokietnica, which includes the changes in Rokietnica as the result of suburbanization. The analysis of activity and effectiveness of Rokietnica in raising the structural funds and characteristic of percentages this funds in expenses of Rokietnica were the base to identify and evaluate the influence of structural funds on shaping the quality of factors of the local development. Moreover this study contains description of trends in using the structural funds in gmina Rokietnica. In the text, there is also recommendation for local authorities reffering to possibilities of using the structural funds in programming period 2014–2020.;
  Celem artykułu jest ocena wpływu funduszy strukturalnych na kształtowanie czynników rozwoju lokalnego na przykładzie gminy Rokietnica. Wykorzystano analizę aktywności i skuteczności gminy w pozyskiwaniu funduszy strukturalnych oraz charakterystykę udziału tych funduszy w wydatkach gminy Rokietnica. Pozwoliło to nie tylko wskazać na czynniki rozwoju lokalnego wspierane przez fundusze strukturalne, ale również określić ich znaczenie i zidentyfikować tendencje w pozyskiwaniu i wykorzystywaniu tych funduszy przez gminę Rokietnica.
