  In 2018, the Companion Volume to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the key document related to language policy in Europe, was published. The aforementioned publication contains an extended description of mediation activitiesand strategies in language teaching. Mediation in teaching is understood there in terms of three aspects: textual, conceptual and communicative. The article includes a description of mediation strategies which allow text processing. Pedagogical mediation is also mentioned. The article presents the role of mediation in language education of foreign candidates for studies at Polish Universities.;
  W 2018 roku ukazał się Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – Companion Volume, kluczowy dokument związany z polityką językową w Europie. Zawiera on poszerzony opis działań i strategii językowych związanych z mediacją. Mediacja w nauczaniu rozumiana jest w trzech aspektach: mediacji tekstowej, pojęciowej i komunikacyjnej. W artykule zawarto również opis strategii mediacyjnych umożliwiających przetwarzanie tekstu. Wspomniano także o mediacji pedagogicznej. Artykuł przedstawia rolę mediacji w językowej edukacji kandydatów na studia w Polsce.
