  The article gives the portrayal of Jesus as a guest in the light of numerous texts of canonical Gospels. Jesus Christ appears as a guest who is entertained by the Pharisees (Luke 7:36–50; 11:37–54; 14:1–24), by collectors and sinners (Mark 2:13–17; 14,3–9; cf. Luke 19:1–10), and by his disciples and friends (Mark 1:29–31; Luke 10:38–42; John 2:1–11; 11:1–3; 12:1–8). The author of the article gives the overview of New Testament Greek terminology of hospitality and also a historical evaluation of the evangelical stories. Especially it is a feature of the Gospel of Luke in which Jesus appears as a guest and a visitor. The people who received Jesus into their houses were the recipients of his teaching about the kingdom of God and rules of new life. According to the author Jesus as Guest is as well like a Host teaching all who are at the table. He is at the same time Guest and Host, Friend and God.;
  Artykuł ukazuje obraz Jezusa jako gościa w świetle licznych tekstów kanonicznych Ewangelii. Jezus pokazuje isę jako gość, który jest przyjmowany w gościnę przez faryzeuszy (Łk 7,36–50; 11,37–54; 14,1–24), przez celników i grzeszników (Mk 2,13–17; 14,3–9; por. Łk 19,1–10) oraz przez swoich uczniów i przyjaciół (Mk 1,29–31; Łk 10,38–42; J 2,1–11; 11,1–3; 12,1–8). Autor artykułu dokonuje przeglądu greckiej terminologii gościnności jak i historycznej ewaluacji ewangelijnych historii. W sposób szczególny jest to widoczne w Ewangelii według św. Łukasza, w której Jezus ukazuje się jako gość i odwiedzający. Ludzie, którzy przyjmowali Jezusa do swoich domów byli odbiorcami Jego nauki o Królestwie Bożym i zasadach nowego życia. Według autora Jezusa jako gość jest równocześnie gospodarzem uczącym wszystkich, którzy są przy stole. Jest gościem i gospodarzem, przyjacielem i Bogiem.
