Description:
Excavations in Kiekrz, on site 48 were conducted in October 2022 in connection with the construction of a local industrial project. The result of the research on an area of about 24 ares was the registration of 87 features and a total of 1570 artefacts. In terms of chronology, the discovered materiał was assigned to two cultural horizons. The first was the remains of a settlement of the Funnel Beaker culture, represented by two wells (without wooden casings). In one of them 21 fragments of pottery occurred. An oak wood sample from one of them was analysing by the LSC technique (radiocarbon), yielding a date of approxi mately 3516-3365 BC. The second horizon was the remains of a settlement of the Lusitanian culture from the 4th to 5th Bronze Age. Eighty five features were recorded, as well as 1391 fragments of pottery, 9 lumps of burnt clay, 147 animal bones, 2 stone objects and 3 objects made from animal bones.;
Badania wykopaliskowe w Kiekrzu, na stan. 48 przeprowadzono w październiku 2022 roku w związku z budową lokalnej inwestycji przemysłowej. Efektem badań na powierzchni ok. 24 arów było zarejestrowanie 87 obiektów nieruchomych oraz łącznie 1570 źródeł ruchomych. W zakresie chronologii odkryty materiał przyporządkowano dwom horyzontom kulturowym. Pierwszy to pozostałości po osadzie ludności kultury pucharów lejkowatych, które reprezentują dwie studnie (bez organicznych cembrowin). W jednej z nich wystąpiło 21 fragmentów ceramiki. Próbkę drewna dębu pochodzącą z jednego z tych obiektów poddano analizie radiowęglowej techniką LSC, uzyskując datę z ok. lat 3516-3365 BC. Drugi horyzont osadniczy stanowiły pozostałości osiedla ludności kultury łużyckiej z IV-V epoki brązu. Zarejestrowano 85 obiektów oraz 1391 fragmentów ceramiki, 9 grudek polepy, 147 kości zwierzęcych, 2 przedmioty kamienne i 3 przedmioty wykonane z kości zwierzęcych.
