  The article offers a reflection on autofiction as a paradoxical genre. After introducing the definitional problems, the author analyzes the literary project of Andrzej Czcibor-Piotrowski, focusing on three possible expansions of the interpretation of autofictional texts: the category of seriality, the notebooks and unpublished works found in the archive, and paratext. He also describes the subject of autofiction as a “self” whose main characteristic is instability, in contrast to the subjectivity constructed in traditional autobiography. This is rooted, among other things, in the way autofiction operates in literary communication.;
  Artykuł podejmuje refleksję o autofikcji jako gatunku paradoksalnym. Po przybliżeniu problemów definicyjnych autor analizuje literacki projekt Andrzeja Czcibora-Piotrowskiego, skupiając się na trzech możliwych poszerzeniach interpretacji tekstów autofikcyjnych o nowe konteksty: o kategorię seryjności, o bruliony i nieopublikowane utwory znajdujące się w archiwum oraz o paratekst. Opisuje także podmiot autofikcji jako „ja”, którego główną cechą jest niestabilność, w przeciwieństwie do podmiotowości konstruowanej w tradycyjnej autobiografii. Ma to swoje źródło między innymi w sposobie funkcjonowania autofikcji w literackiej komunikacji.
