  This article contains a presentation of objectives and major issues that occurred during the first phases of the work on the digital edition of the correspondence between Jan Lechoń, Kazimierz Wierzyński and Mieczysław Grydzewski. Special attention was paid to an adjustment of the standard of Text Encoding Initiative, used in this project, for the purposes of the edition of the correspondence of the creators of Polish culture at the end of 19th and in the 20th century.;
  Tekst przedstawia projekt cyfrowej edycji korespondencji Jana Lechonia i Mieczysława Grydzewskiego, w którym wykorzystano system znaczników TEI (Text Encoding Initiative). W artykule opisano założenia projektu i najważniejsze problemy, przed którymi stanęli jego autorzy w pierwszej fazie prac oraz omówiono zagadnienia dotyczące dostosowania języka TEI do potrzeb edycji korespondencji twórców kultury polskiej końca XIX i XX wieku.
