Celem autora było przypomnienie zbiorków wierszy wybranych autorów całkowicie lub częściowo zapomnianych, nieobecnych – przynajmniej w zakresie swej aktywności wojennej – na kartach nawet najobszerniejszych syntez historycznoliterackich.
