  The purpose of the article was to investigate the use of German-related subjects in Wiadomości TVP as a basis for discussing domestic issues. Earlier studies identified such practices within the broadcaster’s main news program, even though they addressed different topics, leading to the development of this focused research.;
  Celem artykułu było zbadanie zabiegów polegających na wykorzystaniu w Wiadomościach TVP niemieckiej tematyki jako punktu odniesienia do omawiania tematyki krajowej. Prowadzone wcześniej badania, choć dotyczyły innych zagadnień, ujawniły taki zabieg w głównym programie informacyjnym nadawcy publicznego, stąd pomysł na badanie poświęcone wyłącznie jemu.
