  In this study, I present changes in the landscape of the Warsaw district of Targówek from 1804 to 2024. Using GIS tools, I developed digital editions of old maps during the data collection, analysis, and visualisation stage. The sources used for the study were nine old topographic maps published by the Austrian, Russian, German, and Polish topographic services, at scales from 1:16,800 to 1:50,000, at equal intervals (every 20– 30 years), and the BDOT database. I juxtaposed the cartographic studies with written studies and numerical data.;
  W niniejszym artykule przedstawiam zmiany krajobrazu warszawskiej dzielnicy Targówek od 1804 do 2024 r. Przy użyciu narzędzi GIS na etapach gromadzenia danych, analizy i wizualizacji opracowałem cyfrowe edycje map dawnych. Źródła wykorzystane do badania to dziewięć topograficznych map dawnych publikowanych przez służby topograficzne austriackie, rosyjskie, niemieckie i polskie, w skalach od 1:16 800 do 1:50 000, w równych (co 20–30 lat) odstępach czasowych, oraz baza BDOT. Opracowania kartograficzne zestawiłem z opracowaniami pisanymi i danymi liczbowymi.
