  Dieser Beitrag stellt die mit der bruchstückhaften Quellenüberlieferung zusammenhängenden Hindernisse dar, auf die Forscher bei einer Analyse der Gesellschafts- und Berufsstruktur des mittelalterlichen Kulm (Chełmno) stoßen. Es wurden hier die zugänglichen Quellen zur Soziotopografie der Stadt sowie die Forschungsmethoden genannt, die in einer solchen Studie herangezogen werden können. Im Anhang findet sich ein Verzeichnis der Bürger des großen Viertels, das auf Steuerregistern und anderen archivalischen Quellen basiert. Die im beigefügten Stadtplan verwendeten Farben stehen für Grundstücke, die von Vertretern bestimmter Berufsgruppen bewohnt wurden.;
  The article addresses the problems related to the development of the social and professional structure of medieval Chełmno in the light of the preserved city books. The text discusses the sources for research on the socio-topography of this city along with the research possibilities and methods. . The annex presents a list of townspeople of the great quarter, which was prepared on the basis of several tax registers and other archival sources. The city plan at the end of the article presents a grid of plots of land with a color marking of the professions practiced by people living in the houses constructed on them.;
  Artykuł ukazuje problemy związane z opracowaniem struktury społecznej i zawodowej średniowiecznego Chełmna w świetle zachowanych ksiąg miejskich. W tekście omówiono źródła do badań nad socjotopografią tego miasta oraz możliwości i metody badawcze. W aneksie przedstawiony został wykaz mieszczan kwartału wielkiego, który został sporządzony na podstawie kilku rejestrów podatkowych oraz innych źródeł archiwalnych. Na znajdującym się na końcu artykułu planie miasta przedstawiono siatkę działek kolorystycznie zaznaczając zawody uprawiane przez osoby zamieszkujące znajdujące się na nich domy.
