  In the first part of the article, the author discusses the phenomenon of change in the contemporary world, with particular emphasis on the professional area in the lives of young adults. The research project was based on an interpretive paradigm. Based on the interpretation of the collected research material, the author presents the sources of professional changes in young adults’ biographies and characterizes the phenomenon of professional change referring to the category of time, scope, and intensity. In the last part she presents the conclusions together with an attempt to make a summary, containing a holistic view of changes in the biography of the members of contemporary society.;
  W pierwszej części artykułu autorka prowadzi rozważania dotyczące fenomenu zmiany w kontekście dynamiki współczesnego świata. Przeprowadzony projekt badawczy osadzony został w paradygmacie interpretatywnym. W oparciu o interpretację zgromadzonego materiału badawczego autorka wskazuje źródła zmian zawodowych w biografiach młodych dorosłych i dokonuje charakterystyki zjawiska zmiany zawodowej odwołując się do kategorii czasu, zakresu i intensywności. W zakończeniu przedstawia wnioski wraz z próbą podsumowania, zawierającego holistyczne spojrzenie na zmiany w biografii współczesnego człowieka.
