  Through our vision of “household” in The Book of Tobit we looked to a microcosm of the world of Israel, which was confronted at that time by Hellenism. The educational religious narrative underlines the nature of the Jewish family as a natural community of solidarity, where people can experience love. The family is the first school of humanity characterised by eleēmosynē. The practice of eleēmosynē introduces faith and religion to daily life. Eleēmosynē is the primary mode of expression of faith within action. The Book of Tobit shows us the solidarity of all the main figures of the story (Tobit, Ann, Sara, Raguel, God´s Messenger Raphael). Israel experiences the solidarity of God as well (Tb 13:2–5). Even the author of the Book of Tobit has solidarity with his readers during moral danger and spiritual crisis.;
  Poprzez naszą wizję rodziny zawartą w Księdze Tobiasza, patrzyliśmy na mikrokosmos świata Izraela, który wówczas stał wobec Hellenizmu. Edukacyjna, religijna narracja uwydatnia naturę żydowskiej rodziny jako naturalnej wspólnoty solidarności, w której ludzie doświadczają miłości. Rodzina jest pierwszą szkołą człowieczeństwa scharakteryzowaną za pomocą eleēmosynē. Praktyka eleēmosynē wprowadza wiarę i religię do codziennego życia. Eleēmosynē jest podstawowym sposobem wyrazu wiary w czynie. Księga Tobiasza ukazuje nam solidarność wszystkich głównych postaci opowiadania (Tobiasza, Anny, Sary, Raguela, Bożego posłańca Rafała). Izrael doświadcza także solidarności Boga (Tb 13,2–5). Także autor samej Księgi Tobiasza solidaryzuje się z jego czytelnikami podczas zagrożeń moralnych i kryzysów duchowych.
