Watching TV is still the most popular pastime among children. Television advertising in the last period changes from traditional commercials to product placements. Children, especially at the age of 6–8 years, like watching ads, and lack of knowledge that makes their content accept as facts and reality. They are victims of psychological mechanisms used in advertisements. Opinion of the children of commercials is generally positive. However, with age, significantly increases the aversion to television advertising, which is due to the knowledge and awareness of the mechanisms of action in the world of advertising.;
Oglądanie telewizji jest wciąż najbardziej popularnym sposobem spędzania wolnego czasu wśród młodzieży. Reklama telewizyjna w ostatnim okresie przechodzi przeobrażenie, ewoluując od tradycyjnych spotów reklamowych do lokowania produktu. Dzieci, zwłaszcza wieku wczesnoszkolnego, chętnie oglądają przerywniki reklamowe, a brak odpowiedniej wiedzy sprawia. że przekazywane treści przyjmują za fakty i rzeczywistość, stając się ofiarą mechanizmów psychologicznych. Stosunek dzieci do przekazów reklamowych jest ogólnie pozytywny. Jednak wraz z wiekiem zdecydowanie zwiększa się niechęć do reklamy telewizyjnej, co jest spowodowane bogatszym zasobem wiedzy oraz świadomością istnienia mechanizmów oddziaływania w świecie reklamy.
