  She has a Ph.D. degree in the Humanities, she is an ethnologist and anthropologist. Her Ph.D. thesis is titled Macedońscy uchodźcy wojenni na Dolnym Śląsku: Adaptacja, migracje, pamięć (Macedonian War Refugees in Lower Silesia: Adaptation, Migration, Memory). She cooperates with the University of Leipzig, where she completed a binational doctoral program “The New Europe” and with the Wroclaw Center “Remembrance and Future.” Her major publications include the following articles: Die Wahrnehmung Niederschlesiens durch makedonische Flüchtlinge des griechischen Bürgerkrieges (2010), Uchodźcy z greckiej wojny domowej na Dolnym Śląsku: Zarys problematyki ( Refugees from the Greek Civil War in Lower Silesia: Issues Outline) (2012), Czy jestem po ich stronie? Oral history w badaniu wojny i przymusowych migracji (Am I on Their Side? Oral History in the Study of War and Forced Migration) (2012), Z Grecji do Polski, relacja Wagnela Durlowa (From Greece to Poland, the account of Wagnel Durlow) (2013). Her research interests include migration, border regions as well as multiculturalism, memory and commemoration, oral history, and autobiographies.;
