The Polish Journal of Veterinary Sciences is an open-access peer-reviewed journal (http://pjvsci.uwm.edu.pl/). It was established in 1998 and has been published continuously as a quarterly since then. The Journal is aimed at publishing high-quality research (original and short communication) and review articles from the wide field of veterinary medicine. English-language articles from a variety of areas are welcome. The following topics are particularly encouraged: new knowledge on the pathophysiology of animal diseases; new knowledge on animal disease therapy, therapeutics and prevention; new knowledge on animal-associated public health issues.
