  Praca analizuje politykę gospodarczą II Rzeczypospolitej w latach 1918–1939, zwracając uwagę na jej kluczowe sukcesy i porażki. Wśród sukcesów wymienia się reformę walutową Władysława Grabskiego, która ustabilizowała gospodarkę, oraz budowę portu w Gdyni, która uniezależniła Polskę od niemieckiego Gdańska. Ważnym elementem było również stworzenie Centralnego Okręgu Przemysłowego (COP), co przyczyniło się do rozwoju przemysłu ciężkiego. Z drugiej strony, praca wskazuje na ograniczenia reformy rolnej oraz negatywne skutki globalnego kryzysu lat 30., który pogłębił trudności gospodarcze Polski. Pomimo tych wyzwań, polityka gospodarcza II RP stworzyła fundamenty dla dalszej modernizacji kraju.
