  This article will present the issues of motivation to volunteer work based on the results of a survey of members of non-governmental organization in April 2014. The publication will be explained the concept of volunteering. Also discussed will be issues of motivation to work in the theoretical aspects and its references to volunteering. It will show the results of the published reports on volunteering and social activities.;
  W artykule poruszone zostały zagadnienia motywacji do pracy wolontariuszy w aspekcie teorii i praktyki zarządzania. Wyjaśnione zostało pojęcie wolontariatu oraz scharakteryzowana została sylwetka wolontariusza. Zaprezentowane zostały także wyniki badania przeprowadzonego w kwietniu 2014 roku na członkach organizacji pozarządowej, jaką jest stowarzyszenie, a którzy działają jako wolontariusze.
