Zeznająca została aresztowana w styczniu 1941 r. w Międzyrzecu Podlaskim. Była przetrzymywana i przesłuchiwana przez Gestapo w Radzyniu Podlaskim oraz na zamku w Lublinie. Jeszcze w Radzyniu została zmuszona do podpisania wyroku, którego treść nie została jej przedstawiona. Następnie zeznająca została wywieziona do KL Ravensbrück, gdzie była poddawana zabiegom chirurgicznym w ramach eksperymentów medycznych. Operacje spowodowały gorączkę, krótkotrwałą niemożność chodzenia oraz trwałe uszkodzenie nóg. Kobieta przebywała w Ravensbrück do ewakuacji w kwietniu 1945 r. W tym czasie była świadkiem wyprowadzania słabszych więźniarek do komór gazowych, ich zwłoki były później palone w krematoriach.
