The author attempted to verify the opinions of historiography (especially the latest suggestion by Jan Tęgowski) on the alleged Orthodox baptism of Jogaila, the Grand Duke of Lithuania. An analysis of the sources has unequivocally shown that the future king of Poland was baptised in Krakow in 1386 as a pagan.;
Autor podjął próbę zweryfikowania opinii historiografii (zwłaszcza ostatniej propozycji Jana Tęgowskiego) na temat domniemanego chrztu prawosławnego Jagiełły, wielkiego księcia litewskiego. Przeprowadzona analiza źródeł w jednoznaczny sposób wykazała, że przyszły król Polski przystępował do krakowskiego chrztu w 1386 r. jako poganin.
