The aim of this article is to conduct a preliminary overview of the Speakers of the Poznań and Kalisz Voivodeships Regional Assembly (sejmik) during the reign of Augustus III. The nobility of Poznań and Kalisz Voivodeships of those times met at eighty-five assemblies, but there exist records of only thirty-three speakers. Due to the fact that some of the aforementioned speakers were elected more than once, the article presents the figures of twenty-four individuals total, who accounted for a sample of the regional elite of the Greateer Poland.;
Der Aufsatz bezweckt, die Gestalten der Marschälle von den Woiwodschaftssejmiks: Poznań und Kalisz (dt.: Posen u. Kalisch) in der Regierungszeit von August III. näherzubringen. Polnische Adeligen von den genannten Woiwodschaften versammelten sich damals zu 85 Sejmiks, doch den Überlieferungen zufolge hatte man nur in 33 Fällen mit dem Amt eines Marschalls zu tun. Der Verfasser charakterisiert 24 Personen, denn einige von ihnen leiteten die Sitzung des Sejmik mehr als einmal. Die hier zu untersuchte Gruppe ist für den regionalen Teil der Sejmikelite repräsentativ.
