  In his will, drawn up on 2 January 1597, Stanisław Budziński included many eschatological thoughts. As a proponent of anti-Trinitarian doctrines, he considered last wills as documents distorted by bequests to the Church, mixing spiritual and human matters. Apart from the distinction between a testament and a libellus, Budziński, in the content of his last will, among other things, derived testamentary bequeathing from the Bible, inscribed the process of making a will into God’s design and argued that burial in a backyard orchard was no different from burial in a cemetery. The article, which discusses Stanisław Budziński’s Arian concept of making a last will and testament, is supplemented by a source edition of the last will in question.
