  The article presents a reflection on the famous phrase of Pope John Paul II ‘the family is the way of the Church’, dedicated by him to ‘every human family’. Some of the pope's characteristic and still relevant theses are considered, such as the dignity of the human family, the exemplarity of the Holy Family, the stability of marriage and the family, and the role of parents.On the basis of this analysis, it can be concluded that some of the theses of the Papal Letter to Families proved to be prophetic; some, with the change of social conditions, need to be developed and made more precise.;
  Artykuł przedstawia refleksje nad słynnym zdaniem papieża Jana Pawła II „rodzina jest drogą Kościoła”, które dedykował „każdej ludzkiej rodzinie”. Wiele z charakterystycznych dla papieża pojęć, np. godność ludzkiej rodziny, inspiracja przykładem Świętej Rodziny, znaczenie stabilności małżeństwa i rodziny wydaje się dzisiaj jeszcze bardziej aktualne. Analiza dowodzi, że niektóre tezy papieskiego Listu do rodzin okazały się prorocze; niektóre, wraz ze zmianą warunków społecznych, wymagają rozwinięcia i doprecyzowania.
