Scharakteryzowano w nim działalność zespołu lustracyjnego pod kątem składu osobowego, przyczyny jego powołania i zadań wykonywanych przez rewizorów, co pozwoliło ukazać ich rolę w systemie zarządzania majątkiem i dochodami dóbr stołowych Samborszczyzny. Przeprowadzono analizę wytworów działalności komisarzy w celu ukazania kondycji finansowo-gospodarczej dóbr ekonomicznych w końcu XVII w., funkcjonowania wymiaru sprawiedliwości oraz położenia mieszkańców miast i wsi w świetle wnoszonych przez nich suplik. Przedmiotem analizy objęto administratorów ekonomii i sposób zarządzania przez nich majątkiem królewskim. Wymieniono ich nadużycia i zaniedbania w wykonywaniu obowiązków określonych w kontraktach skarbowych, jak również przedstawiono zalecenia komisarzy w celu usprawnienia administracji dóbr i poprawy ich dochodowości. The article deals with the inspection made by the royal treasury commission of the Sambor Crown estates in 1698. It describes the lustration team in terms of its composition, reasons for its appointment, and tasks of the auditors, which makes it possible to show their role in the system of managing property and income of the Crown lands in Samborszczyzna. An analysis of the outputs of the commissioners’ activities is to show the financial and economic condition of economic lands at the end of the seventeenth century, the functioning of the justice system and the situation of urban and rural residents in the light of the supplications they brought in. The analysis included also figures of economic administrators and their manner of managing of the Crown property, and reveals that they abused and neglected their duties set out in treasury contracts; there are also recommendations of commissioners to improve the administration of Sambor goods and increase their profi tability presented.
