The object of this article is to critically examine the concept of utopia in Panagiotis Kondylis’ work and to outline the historical context in which his idea arose. The authors point out that in Kondylis' conception the notion of utopia plays a central role and has a universal character. At the same time the anthropological dimension and its implications are underlined. The authors also draw attention to Kondylis' historical analyses relating to the collapse of communism, which he does not directly link to its utopian character.;
Przedmiotem artykułu jest krytyczne opracowanie pojęcia utopii w dziele Panajotisa Kondylisa oraz nakreślenie historycznego kontekstu powstania jego koncepcji. Autorzy artykułu wskazują, że w koncepcji Kondylisa pojęcie utopii odgrywa centralną rolę i ma charakter uniwersalny. Podkreślają równocześnie jej antropologiczny wymiar oraz wskazują na wynikające z tego konsekwencje. Autorzy zwracają również uwagę na historyczne analizy Kondylisa odnoszące się do upadku komunizmu, którego on nie łączy bezpośrednio z jego utopijnym charakterem.
