  The article presents the results of a study on assessing the direction and scale of changes in the level of economic development of voivodeships during the COVID-19 pandemic. A set of values for characteristics describing the economic situation in individual voivodeships was generated from the Local Data Bank via the website https://bdl.stat.gov.pl/BDL/dane/podgrup/temat. The method of linear ordering of multidimensional objects was applied, using the Strahl method in a dynamic approach, to normalize the variables. A synthetic Development Level Indicator (DWPR) was determined, encompassing 13 diagnostic variables, based on which the level of economic development of individual voivodeships was determined for the years 2019, 2020, and 2021, and for comparison, also for 2010 and 2015. Rankings of voivodeships were prepared, and the magnitude of changes in the level of economic development between 2019 and 2021 was calculated. The analysis showed a slight decrease in the DWPR indicator in 2020, which can be attributed to the effects of pandemic-related restrictions. However, in 2021, the indicator exceeded the pre-pandemic value in all voivodeships. The increase in DWPR was mainly influenced by the following factors: industrial sales, own revenues of municipalities, the number of newly created jobs, the number of business entities per 1000 working-age population, average wages, and GDP value. The values of these indicators significantly increased in 2021 compared to 2020, resulting in a significant growth in DWPR. The growth dynamics were uneven: changes in more developed voivodeships were faster than in others, leading to deepening regional development disparities. The negative impact of the pandemic on the economy did not prove to be long-lasting.;
  Celem badań jest ocena skali zmian poziomu rozwoju gospodarczego województw w czasie pandemii COVID-19, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem województwa wielkopolskiego, które zajmuje w całym badanym okresie stosunkowo wysokie miejsce w rankingu. Badania przeprowadzono na podstawie danych GUS. Zastosowano metodę porządkowania liniowego obiektów wielowymiarowych przy normowaniu zmiennych metodą Strahl w ujęciu dynamicznym. Wyznaczono syntetyczny wskaźnik poziomu rozwoju obejmujący 13 zmiennych diagnostycznych i porównano poziom rozwoju gospodarczego województw w latach 2019–2021 oraz w 2010 i 2015 r. Analiza wykazała niewielkie obniżenie wskaźnika w 2020 r., ale w 2021 r. we wszystkich województwach osiągnął on wartość wyższą niż przed pandemią. Dynamika wzrostu była nierównomierna – zmiany w województwach bardziej rozwiniętych były szybsze niż w pozostałych, co spowodowało pogłębienie regionalnych różnic rozwojowych.
