  Karolína Světlá ve svém posledním románě Nemodlenec (1878) klade důraz na výstavbu textu, zdůrazňuje jeho střed a kulminaci. Vedle celkového rozvržení použí- vá prozaička synchronní scény, přírodní kulisy, dynamické rekvizity a deviačního momentu. Z typologie postav uplatňuje figuru intrikána, anticipanta a blíženců. Celý román je vystavěn na konvergentním principu. Morfologické příbuzenství s Karlem Sabinou, Aloisem Jiráskem a Jakubem Arbesem.;
  In her last novel called Nemodlenec (1878), Karolína Světlá puts emphasis on the text composition with the focus on its centre and its climax. Besides the general layout, the prose writer uses synchronic scenes, natural background, dynamic props and deviation moment. From the character typology she uses the character of an intriguer, an anticipant and a Gemini pair. The whole novel is built on the convergent principle. Morphological relation to Karel Sabina, Alois Jirásek and Jakub Arbes.
