  The article outlines the issues and research perspectives related to the intensification of studies on family structures and household communities in feudal Poland. The author indicates the need to extend and modernise the questionnaire of research questions, which should lead to discovering many interesting spheres of the everyday existence of the elementary cell of social and demographic phenomena. Further in-depth research should be supported by expanding the catalogue of sources considered jointly and, to an even greater extent, by using theoretical models and statistical tools (microsimulations).;
  Artykuł przedstawia perspektywy badawcze związane z intensyfikacją studiów nad strukturami rodzinnymi i wspólnotami domowymi na ziemiach polskich do schyłku feudalizmu. Autor wskazuje na potrzebę poszerzenia i unowocześnienia kwestionariusza pytań badawczych, które powinny doprowadzić do odkrycia wielu interesujących sfer codziennej egzystencji podstawowej komórki zjawisk społecznych i demograficznych. Dalszym pogłębionym badaniom powinno sprzyjać nie tylko poszerzenie katalogu źródeł ujmowanych łącznie, ale w jeszcze większym stopniu wykorzystanie modeli teoretycznych i narzędzi statystycznych (mikrosymulacje).
