  The growing competition on the book market has put the marketing activities in the centre of publishers' interest. One of the most important tools for book promotion are literary prizes. They determine the success of both writers and publishers as well as commercial one. The best known Polish literary prize is the NIKE Prize, founded in 1997.;
  Rosnąca konkurencja na rynku książki sprawiła, że w centrum zainteresowania wydawców znalazły się działania marketingowe. Jednym z ważniejszych narzędzi promocji książki są nagrody literackie. Stanowią wyznacznik sukcesu pisarskiego i wydawniczego, także komercyjnego. Najbardziej znana polska nagroda literacka, to utworzona w 1997 roku nagroda NIKE.
